Temporary Internet Files won't delete ...
In truth, the partitioning tools that come with Windows XP are crude and blunt instruments. In your case, I'd recommend getting a copy of Partition Magic from Powerquest. I thought I had done a clean install of XP Pro, but all of my old files remain, including the two partitions, c and d, that I no longer want.
